Help a community recover from a disaster.
The world watched as the tsunami struck Japan's coast. Our second graders were very concerned and asked right away how they could help. We absorbed all the information we could in order to learn more about Japan's culture, the country, earthquakes, and tsunamis. We brainstormed ideas of what we could do as a class to help aid with this natural disaster and created Jamestown Cares.
