Publications and Research

The following bibliography includes an evolving list of publications and rtesearch that specifically explores Challenge Based Learning, is foundational to the framework or supports speific fundamental ideas and phases. Historically there have been critics that who claimed that the authors of CBL did not honor the foundations or history that led to the framework. To be clear CBL sees itself deeply in debt to the scholars and practioners of constructivist and experiential based learning. Without this foundational thinking most of the x-based learning approaches would not have emerged. CBL is no exception. We are indebted to those who came before us and those who emerged with us – we have no desire to compete, only to continue to push the thinking forward to create a culture of creative, critical and consciensious life long learners.

This is a living collection and we will add citations as we find them. If you have a publication or research paper you want included please use the form at the bottom of the page.
